The IV National Festival of Choro will happen in São Pedro
(São Paulo state), at Hotel Fazenda São João, a hotel park located
on 130 thousand square meters of ecological reserve, with broad
space and comprehensive structure. All activities will be
concentrated on the same place, including food and shelter to
the participants, at affordable prices
(see more about the Hotel).
All courses are free of charge. Students must pay only the
Application Fee and the hotel.
The Festival is for students already familiar with musical practice
in their instrument. Beginners will be accepted only at the
pandeiro workshop (limited inscriptions).

Courses schedule
Courses hours are: 9-11am, 2-4pm and 4,30-6,30pm. Students must be
enrolled in classes in all 3 hours, choosing a different activity
for each time period.

How to apply
Dates: From September 5 to December 5, 2007.
(The final date may be anticipated if the number of applicants
surpasses the expectations of the Festival's coordination).
Fill out the Application Form
Application Fee: R$ 40,00
Payment method: money order
Important: filling out the Application Form and paying the
Application Fee (R$ 40,00) does not mean that your Application
is automatically accepted. After the payment of the Application
Fee, your form will be analyzed. In up to ten working days you will
receive an e-mail saying if your Application was accepted or not.
Only then are you allowed to pay for your stay, directly to Hotel
Fazenda São João. Your Application is confirmed when you make
the first payment to the Hotel. The Application Fee will not be
refunded under any circumstances.
The number of students for each course is limited. Candidates
who apply first have priority.
