Born in Nova Friburgo (Rio state), Thiago Osório started his musical studies at the age of 7 with Helio Veloso Teixeira and later Gutemberg Fernandes, at Sociedade Musical Campesina Friburguense. He has played the trombone since he was 8 years old, and today he is a professional of that instrument, besides the euphonium and the tuba. Presently Thiago plays tuba at the Banda Sinfônica do Corpo de Bombeiros and at the Orquestra Sinfônica Jovem de Campos, and is a member of the Quinteto Friburguense de Metais. He teaches trombone at Escola Portátil de Música since 2007. In the same year he also taught at the National Festival of Choro.

Flutist João Dias Carrasqueira’s son, Toninho had a musical upbringing. Very early he began to study flute, both classical and popular repertoires. In the choro environment, he released a remarkable album interpreting Patápio Silva and Pixinguinha – a reference for flutists and chorões. He is a member of Quinteto Villa-Lobos and participated in orchestras like the Jazz Sinfônica and Sinfônica Municipal de São Paulo.
